Hello, plant lovers. I hope that, over time, this group will become a wonderful place to share experiences with a community of plant lovers. We can post all sorts of tips, recipes, activities (workshops, courses, etc.), books, questions, and so on.
Shall we kick off this group with a round of introductions? I’m Helena Chacón. I’ve always been drawn to nature. Plants began to play an important role in my life from a therapeutic perspective during my teenage years, when I became interested in nutrition, sustainable living and so on. Although for a long time I considered studying naturopathy, I eventually opted for Eastern medicine systems such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, which rely on herbal medicine as a fundamental pillar. Hello, lovers of the mineral kingdom. I’m writing this first post to introduce myself. My name is Helena Chacón. I’ve always been passionate about nature. I studied Geology and completed my PhD in Petrology and Geochemistry in 2006. But as well as the scientific aspects of rocks, I was also drawn to their subtle, energetic qualities. I trained in Crystal Therapy at Katrina Raphaell’s school and at the Crystal Awareness Institute in Mexico. At the moment, I’m very focused on yoga, which is another of my great passions, but I hope to offer more activities related to the Mineral Kingdom and its role in supporting our personal growth in the near future. In the meantime, you can visit my websites and Facebook pages related to minerals:

Welcome to this group, nature lovers. I’d like to kick things off by sharing that yesterday I received my certificate in “NATURAL MINDFULNESS” from Ian Banyard.
A diploma is simply a reward for devoting time and energy to a subject. It doesn’t guarantee you anything, as it’s usually just the start of a learning journey. That’s how I feel about this wonderful course, where you delve deeper into the search for your inner nature through the natural world. This is just the beginning.
I’m still on a “Forest Bathing” training course with “The Mindful Tourist” school and, in the meantime, I’m continuing to read, study, learn and practise so that I can offer the very best in nature connection sessions. Would you like to share your outdoor activities with us? -
