Someone asked the sage Chanakya:
– What is Veneno?
The sage replied: ‘Anything that exceeds what we need is poison. It may be power, wealth, hunger, ego, greed, sloth, lust, ambition, hatred, or anything else.’.

– What is fear?
– Fear is the refusal to accept uncertainty. If we accept it, uncertainty will become an adventure.

– What is envy?
– Envy is the failure to accept the good in others. If we were to accept the good in others, it would become a source of inspiration.

– What is anger?
– Anger is the failure to accept things that are beyond our control. If we accept them, then it becomes tolerance.

– What is hatred?
– Hatred is the refusal to accept another person for who they are. If we were to accept people unconditionally, then that would become love.

So, it’s all a matter of acceptance
