About me

Cuerpo, presencia y vida vivida.
Acompaño a las personas a volver a su cuerpo para que, desde ahí, puedan volver también a sí mismas.
I was born in Asturias but am Extremaduran at heart. I have been living in Llerena (Badajoz) for years, a place I feel is truly my home.
Before turning to yoga, I was a geologist and worked in Portugal for ten years. I later reinvented myself professionally by moving into the world of web design, communications and coaching for wellness professionals.
Looking back, I realise that all those paths had one thing in common: a curiosity to understand how things work and a desire to support processes of transformation.
At the same time, my own personal journey led me to seek answers within the body. For years, I was guided by various therapists and disciplines such as yoga, dance, Reiki and Family Constellations. Some of these also formed part of my training, but it was yoga that ultimately became my home.
Yoga came into my life when I was seventeen. I never had a perfect or consistent practice. For a long time, I came and went, drifting away and coming back time and time again. However, whenever I returned to the mat, I felt the same way: I was at home.
Perhaps that is why I have such faith in people’s genuine journeys today. Because I know that the path is not always straightforward and that everyone finds their own moment to return to themselves.
I currently lead yoga groups, taking an integrative approach that combines movement, breathing, regulation of the nervous system and Traditional Chinese Medicine – a discipline in which I am continuing my training and which is profoundly enriching my understanding of the body.
I am particularly interested in listening to the body’s language. Understanding that pain, a symptom or an illness is not just something that needs to be corrected, but also a way in which the body expresses what needs to be seen, attended to and cared for.
I’m still learning every day. After so many changes of career, city and way of life, there’s one certainty that remains unchanged: whenever I return to the body, I feel as though I’m coming home.
And that is precisely what I try to offer the people who come to my classes.
I don’t teach yoga to help people perform the poses better. I teach yoga so that people can be present in their bodies with greater awareness, kindness and authenticity.
